BenQ-Siemens EL71, the aluminum mobile
BenQ-Siemens has put the batteries, and has started very strong his walks. When people were almost only betting on Nokia and Motorola to lead the mobile phone market, the BenQ-Siemens ones have suddenly presented six new terminals just before the CeBit fair began to be held. One of them, the EL71, could stand out from the others.
What stands out most about this EL71 is that its casing is made of aluminum and magnesium, so the mobile will already have a lower weight than that of its competitors. It is (I think) the first mobile phone made of this material (the case, of course). It has a 2-inch QVGA screen with 262,144 colors that could be said to have been manufactured for multimedia use mainly (in addition to the phone function, of course). It allows the playback of audio files (MP3 and ACC) and video, which can be transferred to the mobile phone through a MiniSD card that has become so fashionable in the mobile phone market.
It also integrates a 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash, BlueTooth connectivity (for many, essential today). For those who don't like flip phones or traditional phones without it, here is the alternative. In addition to being very small, a width of 1.6 centimeters.
