Blackberry adds voice over IP
I think it was Nicholas Negroponte of MIT, I'm not sure, who said that the media of our time had turned around. What was previously wireless communication (television) had become cable (especially in the US), while what was previously cable (telephone) has now become wireless (mobile). The fact is that in the mix of communication genres it does not stop and the company RIM prepares for its Blackberry capacity for 802.11b connectivity. At the beginning of the year the model will be available Blackberry 7270 with capacity for VoIP (voice over the Internet) and WLAN (wireless LAN). Strange, isn't it ?, talking on a mobile phone, via a wireless Internet connection.
