Dell Thunder, 4.1 inches and OLED technology for the Android bet
If we did not have enough with the Dell Lightning, prepared for the premiere of Windows Phone 7, it seems that the American company wants to fish with all rods, at least that we can verify with the second leak of the day, this time using the operating system Android.
The phone responds to the name of Dell Thunder, according to Engadget will use Android in version 2.1, a strange detail considering that Froyo (new Android version) may already be available. As its filtering partner it will feature a 4.1-inch OLED screen and HSDPA connectivity.
All companies customize the Android interface, Dell was not going to be less and it will do so with its own development called Dell Stage, which is expected to be very different from what we have been able to see on the 5-inch Dell Streak tablet, and on its first Dell Aero phone.
Some details that accompany the news about the Dell Stage interface, is that it will have the integration of Twitter and Facebook, and will use Swype as a substitute for the standard keyboard. There is also mention of Flash 10.1 support, something that comes from Android.
No other specifications are known as in the case of the Dell Lightning, but it is rumored that it will have an 8-megapixel camera, and it will appear on the market at the end of the year, to be renewed the following year with a version with LTE connectivity.
