The HTC U12 is filtered before being presented, we already know almost everything about the upcoming HTC flagship (without notch)
There are several manufacturers that have already presented their new high-end terminals, but there are others to come. Among them is the HTC U12, which will be presented tomorrow but has been leaked on a website in tests of the HTC itself discovered by WinFuture editor Roland Quandt.
On this website, now not accessible, all the information and images of that new smartphone appeared that points to screens with an 18: 9 format almost without frames, but it does so with a design without notch, something that is almost even new. The hardware configuration is ambitious, but so will its price, it seems.
Specifications and price are high-end, of course
The images of the device allow us to get to know the HTC U12 up close with a design that features lower and upper frames perhaps more pronounced than other competitors but still notable for the absence of the controversial notch.
That design is also unique because of the position of its dual camera system on the back: those cameras occupy a lower position than usual, and below them is the fingerprint reader.
On that website in tests where the information was leaked, its hardware configuration was shown, which is expected to be confirmed tomorrow and which is in line with other top of the range this season. Namely: a Snapdragon 845, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of capacity, 6-inch Super LCD6 screen with WQHD + resolution (1440x2880).
Other elements such as its resistance to water and dust (IP68 certification), its BoomSound speakers, its microSD slot and a 3,500 mAh battery also stand out. The price shown for this terminal is 5,888 yuan in China, which in exchange would mean about 780 euros.
