Using a mobile phone could create depression in teens

According to a medical study presented by the Toronto Psychiatric Association, in the United States, Canada, extreme use of the mobile phone can create states of anxiety and / or depression in adolescents from 8 to 18 years of age.

Two out of five kids between the ages of 8 and 18 have a mobile phone (that doesn't seem like much to me ...), and statistics say that children between the ages of 7 and 12 spend around an hour a day using their mobile. The test has been carried out on 575 adolescents who use the mobile phone more than 90 times in a single day, and it has been concluded that they live sad and bored. Thanks to the mobile they can interact with other people and maintain social life, especially through SMS text messages, but outside the world of messages they do not feel comfortable.

All this in the United States. And in the rest of the world, what do you think happens? What I am noticing is that now, children are getting smaller when they buy a mobile terminal.
