In the future, liquid lenses on your mobile
Step by step the cameras of the phones improve, but in 10 millimeters of thickness they do not give for many virguerías. The solution is in liquid lenses, which I think we have already talked about. Anyone remembers having once looked through a drop of water and seen how the image on the other side is magnified. The idea is to use liquids, even water, and build a device that allows modifying the shape of the drop, this will serve to vary the focal length of the lens and its optical power. There are already groups working on it, in Denmark and France, the last ones use a drop made up of water, salt and oil (perfect dressing for salads), and they change its shape using electric fields. With 300 million camera phones to be sold next year, upgrading camera capacity is an appetizing bite for manufacturers.
