Highscreen PP5420, from Russia with Android
One of the advantages of Android is that, being open source, it allows small manufacturers to take existing platforms and integrate this operating system on them, as they have done with the "One of GeeksPhone": https: //www.xataka.com/ mobiles / geeksphone-one-made-in-spain-opensource-and-with-android or as in the Highscreen PP5420.
Based on a platform that worked with Windows Mobile 6.1, the manufacturer has replaced it with Android, offering a series of interesting features, among which we find connectivity with HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel camera or a touch screen 3-inch with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels.
Much more original is the one that, similar to the "Samsung Soul": https: //www.xataka.com/tag/samsung+sou, offers a small OLED screen under the main one, which serves to move between the different options of the menus. The television output will also be interesting to use as a portable player.
Too bad the Highscreen PP5420 It is put up for sale outside Russia, where it is the manufacturer and where it will cost about 360 euros to change, but the trend for more models similar to these with innovative features to appear is quite clear.
