HTC HD2, the most powerful on mobile
He HTC Leo already has a name and characteristics. With the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5 today, the presentation of the HTC HD2, which will be the most powerful model from this manufacturer (and probably on the market) in the coming months.
The brute force of this terminal is given by its 1 GHz SnapDragon processor, the same as the Toshiba TG01 that we have been testing, and which makes running applications or playing video on terminals such as these a real delight.
Precisely video playback will be another of the strengths of the HTC HD2, since its 4.3-inch screen and 800 × 480 pixel resolution make it ideal for viewing movies and series. This is probably the largest screen on a mobile right now.
But the size of the screen is not the only one of its innovations, since HTC It has dared to include a capacitive screen in Windows Mobile, being the first manufacturer to take this step that many did not believe possible. Surely, its interface HTC Sense has had a lot to do with it.
Taking the idea of the Sense that is integrated into the HTC Hero, this alternative interface is integrated on Windows Mobile 6.5, so that we will practically forget that the Microsoft operating system runs out there. It seems that HTC will play with both Sense and TouchFlo3D in their future models.
He HTC HD2 has 3G connectivity, up to 7.2 Mbps, EDGE and Wi-Fi, which we will take advantage of perfectly with the Opera browser that comes pre-installed. In addition, it allows you to become a router Wi-Fi and share the 3G with other computers without the need for cables.
Bluetooth, with support for multiple profiles, one receiver Gps and compass are other features that the different programs will be able to take advantage of. Which, by the way, have 448 MB of RAM to run, so we will have no problem having multiple applications open.
Of the rest of the technical specifications of the HTC HD2 we are left with the 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a flash LED dual, the 3.5 mm headphone jack that HTC It is already implementing as standard and its autonomy: just over 6 hours in conversation, 20 days in standby (which I doubt very much), 8 hours of video playback and 12 hours of audio playback.
He HTC HD2 will have, in addition to a kit for the car with which to turn it into a great navigator Gps, which together with this capacitive screen will be very easy to operate. In Spain, its free price will be 649 euros, although it will also be possible to find it soon with Vodafone.
