HTC Touch Diamond 2
He HTC Diamond was one of the mobiles that contributed most to the popularization of this manufacturer, combining design with a practical interface to use on Windows Mobile. With the HTC Touch Diamond 2 want to repeat the success obtained, updating its characteristics.
With benefits very similar to those of HTC Touch HD, the phone continues to maintain the TouchFlo3D interface, although improved, running on Windows Mobile 6.1, although it is expected that we will see future versions that incorporate new versions of this operating system.
On the front, the changes in the buttons stand out, since in this update the control wheel that incorporated the previous model has been eliminated and the four buttons that accompanied it have been reorganized, also incorporating a panel with which we can control the zoom, something that will come in handy for the new version of Internet Explorer that comes installed on the HTC Touch Diamond 2.
Of its benefits, it especially improves the screen, which now has a size of 3.2 inches and offers a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels. It also improves the camera, whose resolution goes up to 5 megapixels.
Of course, the connectivity of the HTC Touch Diamond 2 is assured since it has a 3G module compatible with HSPA, therefore allowing high speeds of both download and upload data. They are joined by Wi-Fi connectivity and the Bluetooth module.
The storage is done through MicroSDHC cards, unlike the original Diamond that did not allow increasing its capacity. We cannot forget, either, the FM radio tuner and the receiver Gps, in addition to the incorporation of an accelerometer that allows us to rotate the screen automatically.
The battery HTC Touch Diamond 2 offers autonomy of up to 5 hours in conversation and up to 500 hours in standby. The phone will be available during the second quarter of the year.
