iDriver, driving a car with the iPhone

Is called Spirit of berlin and it is a car that is controlled by an iPhone. This curious and eye-catching video demonstrates what a group from the University of Berlin has accomplished in Germany.

iDriver is the application with which they have managed to control a car using the Apple iPhone. Thus, with the accelerometer of the mobile phone we can simulate a steering wheel, in the same way that it works in games. And on the touch screen we also have other controls to brake or accelerate.

The car responds quite effectively to what is indicated from the phone, but it could also drive alone, as it is packed with sensors and antennas for autonomous operation.
