Motorola Backflip innovates in design and interaction
Motorola's commitment to Android has been clear, materializing in two terminals, the Dext and the Milestone. But it is clear that they will not be the only ones that will arrive, because next year we will find a complete range among which the Motorola Backflip will be.
It is a terminal with a design that is far out of the ordinary. At first glance it may not seem like it, thought that it is nothing more than an evolution of the Dext, but if we say that the keyboard it incorporates is not a sliding type, we have already misplaced more than one.
So how is this keyboard? Well, it turns around to get behind the screen, hence the name of Motorola Backflip. But there is even more, since at the back of the screen, when the keyboard is extended, we find a touch panel with which to operate the phone.
If you wonder where the camera is, the answer is simple. Integrated into the keyboard. Rare? Certainly. It will be necessary to test it to see if they have really been successful with this configuration, although I am not very clear that it will be comfortable.
For the rest, the Motorola Backflip is a terminal at the height of the Dext. In fact, it uses its same Motoblur interface on a 3.1-inch screen and a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels. The camera is 5 megapixels and includes 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, plus a receiver Gps.
