Samsung Wave, the first bada phone is seen at the Mobile World Congress

Updated with real phone specs and images.

It seems that Samsung has not wanted to wait long, we all knew that the bada operating system was going to have its first representative at this time, and the Mobile World Congress was the ideal time to present it. The point is that the event has not yet started and the Samsung Wave already appears on a huge billboard at the entrance.

We already know its appearance, and although with these images we cannot go into detail, it is possible to draw some conclusions: at first glance it has an elegant and quite thin design, with the usual gray and black tones in terminals of the Korean company. To end any doubt, no physical keyboard, we are facing a fully touch terminal.

We know that the guys from Mobile-review already have an analysis ready to publish, but they will wait a couple of days to do it. The only thing they have commented on the Samsung Wave is that they have no doubt that it will be the most important terminal at the fair, and I, from the opinion of the editor-in-chief of the page, Eldar Murtazin, I trust.

Some technical specifications of the phone have been being discussed, they are not confirmed, but it is said that it will debut the new Samsung Super AMOLED screens. This time the screen size is 3.3 inches, and its resolution is 800 × 480 pixels. What does seem to be confirmed in the images is the presence of a Flash LED next to the camera.

First impressions are quite positive, we hope to soon be able to inform you in more detail about the Samsung Wave and the bada platform.

We have the first images and specifications of the Samsung Wave (also known as the S8500) to share with you. We highlight among them its 1GHz processor (undefined), the use of aluminum in its materials, and a thickness of only 10.9mm. I hope you find them of interest:
