Skype on mobile this year
It was a matter of time before the people of Skype take this step. This is the announcement made by Niklas Zennstrom, CEO of Skype, at a conference in Toronto in which he states that there will be a version of Skype for Symbian, Windows Mobile and Linux mobile operating systems. They will join the existing version of Skype on the move for Pocket PC and will undoubtedly seek to take advantage of the increasingly frequent presence of Wi-Fi connectivity in the latest generation phones such as the Neonode N1m, the Samsung SPH-M4300 or the Samsung i730. Who knows if a future is not looming in which telephone calls will be free or of minimal cost thanks to IP telephony and the business of the operators is exclusively for value-added services.
