Sony Ericsson X10, the awaited Android mobile phone
It is already among us. The Sony Ericsson X10 has finally been made official and fulfills everything we expected from this terminal called to become one of the most desired for power, visual appeal and use of the Android operating system.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will hit the market in the first half of next year. As with its first Xperia model, Sony Ericsson announces the terminal with closed features but it takes several months before we can find it on the market. With this, he risks that the novelty effect is completely passed and that his rivals have time to move the tab and quickly position himself with another similar terminal that will shade him.
Sony Ericsson X10, all power managed by Android
The basis of the Sony Ericsson X10 is its spectacular 4-inch screen and resolution of 480 × 854 pixels. It is not a screen AMOLED as we would have liked, and it only shows us 262,000 colors compared to the 16 million that technology is capable of AMOLED. The screen, yes, is resistant to scratches.
The screen of course is touch and Sony Ericsson announces that it supports gestures.
The processor is Qualcommm's acclaimed 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8250, accompanied by a 1GB internal memory and 8GB microSD memory card. No large capacity built-in flash memory.
The terminal, with that 4-inch screen, stretches up to 12 cm, with a thickness of 13 mm and a width of almost 6.5 cm. Its weight remains at 135 grams. The battery, with a capacity of 1,500 mAh, looks like it will suffer a lot with such a terminal.
As for the version of Android with which it arrives, do not expect 2.0. at the moment because it stays in Donut, 1.6.
The subject of the photo camera has been taken care of a lot in the Sony Ericsson X10. It offers us 8 megapixel resolution with a digital zoom of up to 16x, autofocus and the functions of compact cameras, such as geolocation thanks to the A-GPS Built-in image stabilizer or face recognition and smile detector. It also allows you to record video.
The Sony Ericsson X10 comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, and HSPA.
In Xatakamóvil we detail each and every one of the characteristics of this Sony Ericsson X10.
UX system, Sony Ericsson customization
Sony Ericsson has been unable to remedy customizing the input interface to the X10 with a system called UX. This system seeks to bring together all the information that reaches the terminal or we have on the phone regardless of its origin (mail, SMS, social networks ...) for the same contact. To give you an idea it is something similar to what Motoblur offers.
The function called TimeScape is the basis of the system together with Mediascape, which focuses on the multimedia field, with a recommendation system, so that we can also intuitively control the material regardless of the source. Thus, music, videos and photos come together even if they come from Flickr, the camera, YouTube or PlayNow Arena.
Sony Ericsson, by the way, has not given up its own content store and allows both the Android store and its PlayNow system to coexist in the Xperia X10.
