Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, a complete family
Sony Ericsson likes the idea of its Xperia X10 running Android. They are so fascinated that they have enlarged the family with two new models in their image and likeness but with peculiarities.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and the Mini Pro are the two new phones that are added to the original X10 and that will be arriving gradually in this first half of the year. With this new happy family, the consumer will be able to choose between a large screen, a small terminal or even a mixture of the two with a keyboard QWERTY full.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro, for small pockets
The new dwarfs of the Xperia X10 series boast of small size without hindering the use of an operating system like Android (they come with version 1.6) or communication applications. In fact, the Sony Ericsson custom interface claims to have taken care of it. The shortcuts in the corners of the screen is a very clear example and it seems comfortable.
Both teams share all of their features, such as the 5-megapixel camera or Bluetooth, WiFi and Gps. The screen is 2.55 inches with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels.
As for the sizes, which is where both teams stand out and where they turn in a direction contrary to what the industry seemed to be following in recent years, the Xperia X10 Mini has measures of 83 × 50 × 16 mm and a weight of 86 grams. Memory is based on microSD cards up to 16GB. Its processor is 600 Mhz.
The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro model hardly varies its dimensions (90 × 52 × 17 mm) but the weight does, which is 50% higher until it reaches 120 grams.
Sony Ericsson Timescape, a place to control them all
The three members of the Xperia X10 family will hit the market with the Soy Ericsson Timescape application, which leaves us in one place to control the communications we have with our contacts regardless of their origin. Thus, both text messages and missed calls, Twitter updates or Facebook notifications are collected in one place.
Another curious application will be the Infinite button, which will put content from the music store and the Youtube site in a long playlist.
