CF card for WiFi access via mobile

The truth is that when I saw this news I had deja-vu. Would it be a bug in the Matrix? I don't know, but I have seen this on the market for a long time, in fact I even have one that I use with my Zaurus. It is a CompactFlash card for connecting to Wi-Fi networks manufactured by Sophia Systems.

In addition to connecting through CompactFlash, which is strange because most mobiles nowadays include an SD slot or a miniSD, it only works with the Windows CE operating system and does not with Windows Mobile, for which we will have to wait for the next version they promise to release before the end of the year.

As a novelty, it allows connecting to the PHS network, which is a combination of TDD and TDMA for data transmission. Have you heard of this technology? Well, neither do I, probably because we don't have it available here.
