Digital television on mobile

Abertis Telecom, Nokia and Telefónica, three major telecommunications companies, have signed an agreement to jointly develop in Spain the first project for digital television via mobile. This has been achieved thanks to DVB-H (Digtal Video Broadcasting-Handheld) technology, from which it is hoped to get a great benefit.

The project has the support of the main television networks in the country (Antena 3, Sogecable, TVE, ...), which will be in charge of providing the content. In exchange, a market study will be carried out in which the interest of users in this type of technology will be verified and its feasibility will be studied.

Who knows, maybe sooner than we expect we will be watching television on our mobile.
