Vitelcom and Nokia reach an agreement

The disputes between the Finnish multinational and the Spanish company seem to have come to an end. Nokia and Vitelcom have reached an agreement to withdraw the claims that they had mutually filed. The dispute was started by Nokia filing a patent infringement lawsuit against the Malaga company, which responded with another for defamation, which caused Nokia Spain to file a third. The agreement announced today ends this judicial war through an exchange of patents related to the GSM and GPRS communication standards. A happy ending to this fight between David and Goliar, which will allow the manufacturer of Telefónica's private label models to continue selling in all markets.
